Incorporated in 2005, INNOVA Systems is a family-owned business, dedicated to serving
the vision care industry. In partnership with NCI, INNOVA Systems manufactures high
quality computerized vision testing systems.
Located in Burr Ridge, Illinois, southwest of Chicago, INNOVA's modern manufacturing
facility offers production and service facilities in addition to a showroom/training center,
administrative offices and sales.
NCI - Nordstrom Consulting, Inc.
The founder of NCI, Steve Nordstrom has been in the microcomputer industry since 1981
and was in the electronics industry prior to that. A graduate of the University of Illinois,
Steve was the Director of the Microcomputer Center in the Chicago office of a large public
accounting firm before opening an independent software development and consulting firm
as Nordstrom Consulting in 1987. Version 1 of the NCI visual acuity software was begun in
2000 after 13 years of developing medical, financial and manufacturing systems for Abbott
Labs, Chicago Title & Trust, Ticor Title and Trust, Fidelity Financial and AT&T.
